Let's celebrate the International Days!

This year we're taking part in the international project: "Let's celebrate the International Days!"

International Days are a good entry point for teaching and learning about UNESCO values and priorities. Schools thereby strengthen the awareness of their teachers and students about significant global issues and reach out to their communities.
Thought this project we would like to reinforce our students’ communication and digital skills.
Each month they will collaborate with their peers from other partner countries in order to complete the project’s tasks.

Those are the suggested international days, we will work on, according to UNESCO Associated Schools network. We could make some changenges if we will face problems due to covid & distance learning....

September: Presentation of the project, eTwinning teams, presentations, logo competition, responsibilities

October: 5th – World teachers’ days & 17th - International Day for the Eradication of Poverty

November: 16th - International Day for Tolerance & 18th - World Philosophy Day

December: 3rd & 10th - International Day of Persons with Disabilities & Human Rights Day     

            & 18th - International Migrants Day

January: 24th - International Day of Education

February: 8th- esafety day & 13th - World Radio Day & 21st - International Mother Language Day

March:   8th - International Women’s Day

21st - World Poetry Day

21st - International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination

22nd - World Day for Water

April: 15th – Word art day

           23rd – Word book day

May: 16st - International Day of Light

           21st - World Day for Cultural Diversity
