Meeting with TOBB Fen Lisesi (TOBB Science High School), Gaziantep / TURKEY
On Friday, November 26, our English group from Poland joined together to meet a group of children from Turkey.
We talked about philosophers, Avicenna and Władysław Tatarkiewicz. We talked about their achievements and the things they did, how they helped people. Then we played quizzes about philosophers. First they played our quiz and then we played their quiz. After it, we said goodbye and ended the meeting.The meeting was very interesting and we learned a lot from it, we can't wait for the next meetings! 🙂

During English lesson, on 26 November at 11:50 am, we had a Zoom meeting
on 26 November at 11:50 am with TOBB Fen Lisesi (TOBB Science High School), Gaziantep
/ TURKEY. It was meeting about
Philosophy.
Our Turkish colleagues talked
about Farabi
born in the Golden Age of Islam and known for being famous philosopher and
scientist.
After that it was our schools turn.
Class 8d spoke about Władysław Tatarkiewicz
and presented a photo session they made to illustrate his philosophy. The
Turkish school invited us for a quiz - the first one was in Turkish and second
in English. We did much better in English quiz of course 😊
It was pretty funny and I hope that we can do lessons like that, with people from different countries, more often.
