The title of this painting is „Rembrandt's Anatomy Lesson of Professor Nicolaes Tulp” by Dulch painter Rembrandt. It was painted in 1632 in Amsterdam. The picture was painted with oil on canvas. The dimensions of this image are 169.5 x 216.5 cm. Today we can see that masterpiece in the Mauritshuis.
In the foreground we can see the human body with the yellow skin. This fact proves that it is dead. The body belongs to Adriaan Arisz who was the thief and steal the coat. In that way he was sentenced to the main punishment. On his body we can see many muscles and on his hips he have white material. Behind him is the Professor Nicolaes Tulp. He is wearing black hat and robe. His neck cover the collar in color white. On his face he has black beard. In his right hand he is handing the edge. With that he is presentate some parts of Adriaan arm. Next to him they are students. They are wearing the same clothes like profesor but their white collars are bigger than his. Everyone have got beards, but in diffrent tones of brown. They are making some notes and staring at Mr. Tulp. They look as if they are looking at their authority. It probably is. In the background we can notice that they are some colums and it is look like a class.
In my opinion this painting is very interesting, because it has many details to be described. It is AMAZINGGG !!!
