Fake news by Amelia
Fake news- what are they?
Fake news are informations that basicly have no sense
at all! They can sound real but they are always fake and unreal. People create
them to sell something quicker (for example the newspapers). Sometimes fake
news can hurt people! The writers of the fake news create unreal stories about
people, places and events. For exaple we have a story about co-stars marrige or
a story about flying pigs in the city centre. Summing up fake news are just
weird, unreal stories created by people that need attention, sensation and
money.
How to spot fake news?
It seems difficult but it’s actually really easy! We’ve
got some advices for you how to do it:
➤Think about what you’re
reading. Does it seems fake or real?
➤Try spotting grammar
errors or spelling mistakes. Mostly the writers of the fake news don’t know how
to write correctly.
➤Weird photos in the
articles? Try reporting them to the publishing webside. If you see a flying car
it’s probably made by using green screen and grafic software like photoshop
➤You see an article about
two co-stars marrige that are enemies? Try to find some real information about
their love life!
