 SONA

 

     Are you one of those people who love combining learning with creativity?

If yes, then SONA will be perfect for you, but what is SONA? This is a school camp where we can do things that we can’t learn at school, for example defusing a bomb or building various structures!

     So let’s talk about our daily plan which has a lot of amazing things.

Firstly we wake up at 7:30 AM and then we have breakfast which is delicious,

Our next step are various activities such as architecture, fractals, theatre and many more. So the first activity is architecture, on this lesson we can learn everything about buildings or the history of architecture, for example how it was built in the past and how it is built today, but the best thing are workshops where we can build our city using only our imagination, we also have a lecture with well-known architect. Our next activities are with scouts. There we can learn various useful skills such as sign language or first aid and much more. Now we can talk about theatre, where we discover our acting talents by creating our own scenes and performing them in front of an audience. Let's move on to the oxford debates where the important thing is to talk with each other. It is about proving your thesis by talking with people.

Next are frasctals, it is a figure which parts are similar to the whole figure, for example a triangle made up of smaller triangles. Such figures can be made at the camp, and we can draw them ourselves. One of the best things are field activites. These are different activities like orienteering, checking the length of the tree, building the Leonardo Da Vinci Bridge or soil testing. These are very usefull skills that you can’t learn at school. Last thing will be doing exam tasks for grades 8, it is very important thing for 8th graders.

     Each day has its own plan and each day we are doing different things, but activities always last until around 8:30 pm. In general SONA is a very special school camp and there is a place for everyone.
