Human Rights Day 2023

 December 10 is International Human Rights Day. According to the UN Declaration of Human Rights, every person has the right to live in a clean environment. Year 7 and 8 students know this, as they joined Amnesty International's letter-writing marathon and wrote a total of 298 letters in defense of the Torres Strait Islands and the human rights of their First Nations Peoples, who are at risk of drowning due to climate change.
