18-19 MARCH 2024 ONLINE MOBILITY REPORT

           Within the scope of the "The World is Our Only Home" project on environment and nature protection, the first online mobility study before the Erasmus student mobility will be held on 18-19 March 2024 between 09.00-13.00 Polish time at Szkoła Podstawowa nr 9 im. It was successfully realized with the participation of two partner schools, Króla Jana III Sobieskiego w Gliwicach and Çanıllı Secondary School Ayaş-Ankara / Turkey.

 

                                              18 March 2024 Online Mobility Activities

1-Szkoła Podstawowa nr 9 im. The meeting was started on March 18, 2024, via the zoom platform, mentored and arranged by Malgorzata, the coordinator teacher of Króla Jana III Sobieskiego w Gliwicach school. The agenda of the meeting was created from two themes. 1. Theme personal and cultural introductions (student-teacher-country-city), 2. Theme creation of the project logo and selection of the project logo, mutual discussion of students' expectations, concerns and hopes about the project.

                         

2- Students and teachers briefly introduced themselves in turn. After the teachers and students involved in the project introduced each other, firstly (Poland) Szkoła Podstawowa nr 9 im. Students from Króla Jana III Sobieskiego w Gliwicach made a presentation introducing their country-city school. Then, the students of Çanıllı Secondary School (Turkey) made a presentation introducing their country-city-school with the slide they prepared.

                                                                                                

     

3- The meeting mentor Malgorzata divided the students taking part in the project (mixed with Turkish and Polish students) into five (5) different groups of three people and directed them to five different meeting rooms for these groups. Ten (10) minutes were given to the students in the meeting rooms to get to know each other. At the same time, students shared their thoughts about the project among themselves. Then, the students started to prepare the project logo with the "Canva" program. The logos designed by the groups are shown below. Since there was not enough time to choose the project logo, it was decided that the logo vote would be held at the meeting on March 19, 2024.

   

4-The meeting ended with good wishes at 13.00 Polish time.


19 March 2024 Online Mobility Activities

 

1-Szkoła Podstawowa nr 9 im. The meeting was started on March 19, 2024, at 09.30 Polish time, via the Zoom platform mentored and arranged by Malgorzata, the coordinator teacher of Króla Jana III Sobieskiego w Gliwicach school. The meeting, like the previous meeting, was composed of 2 different main themes. The session plan was prepared as the 1st Theme "Planting Flowers" event and the 2nd Theme "22 March World Water Day" event.


 2-Firstly, the project logos made by the students were voted on March 18, 2024. As a result of the voting, the logo prepared by the students in the 2nd group (Makbule-Alisa-Maja M) was deemed suitable to be the project logo as the 1st logo.

                                                               

3-As was done by Mentor Malgorzata the previous day (mixed with Turkish and Polish students), he divided the students into five (5) different groups of three people and directed them to five different meeting rooms for these groups. Each student did the flower planting activity with their group members in the meeting rooms, using a pot made of waste materials, enough soil and flower seeds. Students decorated their pots using different materials to make their work more colourful. It was observed that the students were very happy while doing the activities and were extremely interested in the activity.

                   

 

                                                                                          

                                              

4-Students came together for the 2nd Theme and shared the slides they prepared in the Canva program for "22 March World Water Day" and made a presentation. Then the groups discussed water problems among themselves. The students carried out a separate activity using the link https://learning-corner.learning.europa.eu/learning-materials/eucraft-digital-simulation-game_pl. The meeting mentor Malgorzata Mrzyk concluded the meeting for the students at 12.50 Polish time.

5- Meeting mentor Malgorzata Mrzyk continued the meeting with the teachers taking part in the project. Teachers taking part in the project made a general evaluation of the online mobility activities carried out on 18-19 March. Certificates will be issued for students who participate in the activities. In addition, the teachers participating in the project exchanged ideas about different activities that could be done. The meeting ended with the good wishes of the teachers.

GOALS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

 

GOAL-1 Environment and Climate Change Awareness: Our students who participated in the "Flower Planting" and "22 March World Water Day" events held on March 19, 2024, exchanged information about the environment and climate change and raised awareness about the water question and climate change.

 

GOAL-2 Foreign Language Proficiency: Students managed to express themselves by speaking English during the presentations they made on 18-19 March 2024 and during their mutual acquaintances. Foreign language proficiency increased in students during the event.

 

GOAL-3 European Citizenship and Cultural Interaction: On March 18, 2024, students will introduce their own country and city while cultural He gained new information about the cultures of different nations through interaction.

 

GOAL-4 Digital Competency: It was observed that the digital competence of the students was increased with the logo they created through the Canva program on March 18, 2024, and the slides and posters they prepared through the Canva program for the "World Water Day" event on March 19.

 

GOAL-5 As individuals living in different countries, they successfully carried out their first work on 18-19 March 2024, to become individuals who are sensitive to global problems and seek common solutions to global problems with their peer groups.

 

GOAL-6 The readiness levels of teachers and students have been increased before Erasmus+ Student mobility. In addition, the project partners got to know each other during the student mobility. In addition, the activities of the project were carried out online and they successfully initiated the project.
